What is a Cult! A Cult is a group or movement exhibiting a great or excessive devotion or dedication to some person, idea, or thing and employing unethically manipulative techniques of persuasion snd contorl, Isolation from former friends and FAMILY, debilitation, use of special methods to heighten suggestibility and subservience, powerful group pressures, information management, suspension of individuality or critical judgment, promotion of total dependency on the group and fear of leaving it. I just want you guys to know that I my self don't claim to be perfect, just today at church I was admonished for retaliating towards my brother and I accepted that I was in the wrong.
Religious people like my family give true christians a bad name! Famlies like them is the reason why people are turned off by Christianity and dont want to have anything to do with God or consider becoming a true Christian! Its very sad! Currently right now my dad is in the hospital. He was on life support and the family decided to take him off life support but he is still alive and kicking. He lived a very long life. He is way over in his 80's. It saddens me that I'm not by his side and hopefully with God's grace I will be able to be next to him before he passes away. I had a lot of anger toward my dad because of the way he treated us, especially my mom when we were growing up. But i've accepted the way he is and have forgiven him. I love my dad with all my heart! I don't consider myself a Religious person but a spiritual person. Back in 1988 my parents became Christians with my help. Even though my dad stop going to church and stoped practicing his faith i still believe with all my heart that he is a Christian. I just pray and hope that my dad when in the living years he made peace with God! I will miss my dad, even though I'm not by his side I will always love him and came to forgive him for all the wrong he did while we were growing up. I could sit here and say all the negative things my dad did but it will serve no purpose! The bottom line is that he is right with God and I will join him in Heaven when i pass away!

Every since they took over that camp (Mile High Pines) they have forgotten what the Great Commision is. Its no longer a Christian camp, its just a finacial way to make money. All the staff members have lost the true purpose of what it means to be a disciple!
It seems like they are blinded by the truth and their hearts decitfullness! I believe that Rosemary, Christy. Gabrial and staff members are living by their emotions and not the Word of God. They are allowing themselves to be deceived by their own Hearts! Once again the bible is clear.......
God makes it clear why we sin-it's a matter of the heart. Our heart is inclined toward sin from the time we are born. It is easy to fall into the routine of forgetting and forsaking God. But we can still Choose whether or not to continue in sin. We can yield to a specific temptation or we can ask God to help us resist temptation when it comes. I don't want my readers to get me wrong by me posting this all on the internet. It just pains me what my family has become. It hurts me to talk about my family this way but i felt inpirered by God to reveal the truth on the abuse my family uses the bible for their own personal gain. They claim to be christians. On the outside they appearas beleivers. But dont be fooled their actions say otherwise. They won't even talk to me. They appear to be beautiful on the outside but on the inside they are full of Hypocricy and dead mans bons. They can't even back up their actions with the word of God!

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather a round them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
Now a days many leaders, teachers, and writers talk about the pursuit of knowledge; they want power. Such people won’t listen to “sound and wholesome teaching.’ In regards to MHP instead they “reject” the truth and chase after myths. You can see this everywhere from liberal churches to university campuses. People claiming to have a bit more enlightenment than what the dusty Bible has to say. People claiming to improve on God’s words. Such people have several things in common 1. They do not tolerate the truth. They have no interest or respect for absolute truth or any standard for judgment. 2. They reject truth for sensationalism. They want truth that fits their situation and makes sense for them. What they feel, what works for them, what seems compelling that is their truth and they claim on absolute right to it. No one should even attempt to tell them differently. 3. They gather viewpoints to suit their selfish desires... Although they profess objectivity, their only defense for their viewpoints is that those viewpoints sit their desires.
Such Teachers have following because they are telling people “whatever their itching ears want to hear.” These people are following myths. Be careful, False teaching can be found in many places-even inside the doors of some churches and organizations . Like Timothy, you must “ keep a clear mind in every situation” and seek God’s Word for the truth.
Rosemary is my sister, Gabriel and Christy I love them with all my heart. They claim to be a Christian but they don’t live by Gods word! They only picks and chooses what scriptures to use to suit her own evil desires
Gods Greatest Commandment!
Matthew 22: 37
Jesus replied. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
My sister Rosemary and I haven’t spoken in 7 years over a very stupid situation. And yet, she claims to love me, now how is that LOVE she wont even speak to me to resolve the situation.
The Bible is very clear about quarrels against each other!
Eph 4: 26 says….
In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry
Rosemary and her daughter Christy have let the sun go down. Rosemary let it set for over 7 years even thought she claims not to be angry with me she won’t speak to me. She claims to love me. Lots of times we take the word LOVE for granted! Love is an Action! Yet she doesn’t show it. Which leads me to believe that the truth does not reside in her; she is selfish, self-seeking and hypocritical? Same goes with her daughter Christy. She told me she doesn’t want to have a relationship with me anymore. NOW HOW IS THAT LOVE? She does not live by the truth; she only picks scriptures that suit her own evil desires. Corinthians talks about what true love is- Gods love! It says in the scripture that love holds no record of wrong yet my sister and niece continue to hold everything against me. Like I said you can’t have it both ways. One foot in the world and one foot in the kingdom.
God call people like that (My sister, her husband, nieces, nephew and the rest of the camp members) brood of vipers, dead mans bones, hypocrites first clean the inside and the out side will show for itself!
In Colossians 3: 13-14 says……..
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Webster’s definition of love is: A feeling of strong attachment induced by what which delights or commands admiration; preeminent kindness or devotion to another; affection; tenderness’s, the love of brothers and sisters.
When you combine that with Gods definition of love which is in 1 Corinthians 13: 1-13 and at the end of the scripture it says: and now these three remain: faith, hope, and love but the greatest of these is Love!
Paul offers a strategy to help us live for God day by day.
1. Imitate Christ's compassionate, forgiving attitude! 2. Let love guide your life! 3. Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart! 4. Always be thankful! 5. Keep God's Word in you at all times! 6. Live as Jesus Christ's representative!
Col 3: 12-

Its obvious that the members and staff do not live by the scriptures!

Dear readers I want to tell you that in creating this website, in no way I claim to be without sin and all Scriptures I use they apply to me as well otherwise im just being a hypocrite! In saying that I would like to share these scriptures with you.
2 Corinthian 7:8-12 " Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter. I don’t regret it. I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while, (hopefully) yes now I am happy not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in a way by us. Gods sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret but worldly sorrow brings death. See what this godly sorrow has produced in you; what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation. What alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done'".
Several days ago I spoke with my sister and niece. My niece was on the phone when I was speaking to my sister, she (niece) was acting as a mediator! The next day after giving it much thought I believe I was set up! They even tried to using scripture with me (very sarcastically). When I tried to tell them how I felt. Which I do believe the scriptures say do not trust our feeling. On the same subject my sister hasn't spoken to me in seven years and her trying to use scripture on my about my feelings is very hypocritical of her because she herself has let her feeling from speaking to me. Same goes with my niece, she won't speak to me and right now she is acting by her feeling and not the truth of God which God call us to resolve our situations swiftly. The bible says “do not let the sun go down if you have something against your brother." Rosemary has let the sun set over seven years. And Christy is doing the same acting on their feeling and not the truth. The Bible says in Ephesians 4: 18 they are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in tem due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continuous lust for more".
One thing I seem to understand is where is the Leader in all this? Why has he not got involved in trying to resolve this mass situation? Gabriel is the Leader of this camp site and he has just sit back and allows all this to happen. I have nothing but respect for him and he should have been the mediator between my sister and me.. Go figure! 17 junio The damages that a Religious Cult can do to you, your family and friends! I believed once that my family, sister, brother-law and their kids had a dream. Gabriel even gave up his job to persue his dream which was to lead a Christian Camp along side with his family. But, over the years it has become apparent to me that Mile High Pines is just a Riligious orginization that calls themselves a christian camp. But they have lost site of the truth and that truth no longer resides in their lives and the staff members aswell. They have forgotten what the 'Great Commission" is and Mile High Pines has just become a organization for profit.
Speaking the trugh in Love: We all know what the greatest commandment is from the bible! "Love the Lord your God with all your Soul, with all your mind and with all your heart". So lets talk about Love: In 1 Corinthians 13: 1-13 'If i speak in the tongues of man and of angels, but have not love, I am a resoounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of profhecy and can fatham all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If i give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are profhecies, they will cease, where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we profhesy in part, but when perfection comes the inperfect desappears. When I was a child, i talked like a child, I thought like a child. I reasoned like a child. When i became a man, i put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now iI know in part; then iI shall know fully even as I can fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain; FAITH, HOPE,and LOVE. But the greatest of these is LOVE'.
The bible is very clear on what True Love is (God's Love). Love is an ACTION and not just a word. Their love is nolonger God's love but their own selfiish-selfseeking love that they use for their own personal gain and not love for others!
Rosemary can't even love her own mom. She disregards her basically as trash! She is embarrased of her, ashamed of her, and the only time she is their for her iis when something is wrong with our mom, like if she is in the hospital, she will come down to vivit her or if she were in her death bed. Just like my dad, he is currently in the hospital and once again Rosemary is only their is because he is dying! It just goes to show that she doesnot know what really Gods love is, she is very hypicritical.
Christy, for many years she decevied me in thinking that we had a relationship and i bought into it knowing that she would only turn on me. Which she did. Just because I disagreed with her about a situation. She accused me of calling her a liar and she told me that she no longer wants to have a relationship with me. I couldn't believe how shallow and hypicritical she truely is. It only leads me to believe that she was brainedwashed by her parents to think like they do! She even called me an eveil and wicked person. The Bible says that LOVE holds no record of wrong and clearly they do.

The Cult's leaders are self appointed, messianic persons who claim to have a special mission in life. Also, the cult teds to be totalitarian in its control of the behavior of its members. Cults are likely to dictate in great detail what members believe , think and say. The cult tends to have a double set of ethics, members are urged to be open and honest within the groupu, sect or relighion and confess all to the leaders. On the other hand they are encouraged to deceive and manipulate outsiders or nonmembers. Established religions teach members to be honest and truthful to all, and to abide by one set ofg ethics. The mind control, or brainwashing, exerted by cults often take the form of at least serveral of the following elements::
A totalitarian control over the lifestyle and time of its memebers - Many cults tend to dictate exactly what its followers should read , eat how and with whom they should spend their time with, and even what they should do in off hours. This totalitarian control is necessary for the leaders to indoctrinate the followers in everything they do, and is also an attept to separate them from anything not associated with a cult(Mile Hihg Pines). This is why cults often live together in groups
A focus on withholding truth from non members - many cults teach thir followers to be completely open and truthful within the group, while at the same time they are encouraged to be secretive and evasive when questioned by people outside of the group. This is another form of mind control-instilling guilt in the members if they hold anything back within the group. The members are taught what outsiders wouldn't understand or that they would only make fun of the ideas and practices and requirements for living within the group. Only specially-encouraged to keep silent or even lie, especially to their famileis and close friends.
The three elements listed above are very successful ways to create a group mentality, an us against-them way of looking at things. This is essential for any cult that wants to keep its members. The more afraid of the outside world the members become, the more strongly and faithfully they will keep within the safe forld of the cult.(Mile High Pines)
In saying that is is so true of the members at Mile High Pines. The leaders Rosemary and Gabriel Valencia would not even have a relationship with our mom becaouse she doesn't agree with her daughter. One time Gabrial Valencia pulled me aside and asked me if i believe that my mom is a Christian, do i believe she is saved. I found that rather insulting and hypicritical of him questioning my mom's salvation. But i understand that cult members have stong convictions and beliefs to the fact that they will believe in their own LIE!
Regarding my miece Christy Crider, just recently she acted as a mediatior between my sister and I to try to resolve a problem and we couldn't come to an agreement. The next day when i had time to thinkd about the three way conversation between my sister, her daughter and myself. I called my niece Christy Crider and told her that I did not believe her when she said that she heard the situation between my sister and I that happend 7 ears ago. I did not call her a LIAR, but she claims that i did call her a Liar becsuse i told her I didnt believe her. I even tried asking her if her mind is so vivid about the situation seven years ago i asked her what streets did we take to get to my place. Thats when she accused me of calling her a Liar! The whole situation was about giving directions to my place and my sister through a tantrum at me. Go figure!!
